Symphony Urban Living

Our story

Built around a fire, a market and a long table

Symphony Urban Living opened with a simple idea: cook honest, seasonal food with real technique, and serve it in a room where people want to linger.

Neighbours drop in after work. Others come back for birthdays, first dates and Friday nights at the bar. Everyone gets the same welcome.

Head Chef

Matei Radu

Matei trained in Bucharest and spent eight years in kitchens in Lyon and San Sebastián before coming home to Romania.

His cooking is rooted in the Romanian pantry — smoked fish, fermented vegetables, sheep's cheese, wild herbs — and finished with the precision of the French brigade.

“I want every plate to taste like the week it was cooked in.”

What we believe

Three things we don't compromise on

  1. 01

    Seasonal first

The menu follows the market, not the other way around. Specials change weekly.

  2. 02

    Local producers

Fish from Black Sea day boats, vegetables and cheese from farms within 150 km.

  3. 03

    Open fire

Our wood-fired grill and oven give everything from bread to lamb its character.
